Dr. Mauro grew up in Oakmont, PA, and has been a proud Penn State Nittany Lion from the start. After completing his undergraduate studies at Penn State, he earned his dental degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and his certification in the specialty of orthodontics from Jacksonville University. With years of experience in private orthodontic practice in Ohio, Dr. Mauro brings a wealth of expertise and a commitment to excellence to our team. We are fortunate he made ROG his home creating Fantastic, confident smiles for our patients. 

Beyond creating beautiful smiles, Dr. Mauro and his wife, Erin, lead a busy life away from ROG with their three active teenage daughters. Whether it’s cheering at athletic events or celebrating creative school projects their family is constantly on the move.  Despite their busy schedule, they never miss the chance to cherish family time together, making the moments count amid the hustle and bustle. Lexi and Hudson, their fur babies round out the family.
