Born and raised in Toms River, NJ, just steps from the beach, Dr. Ashima Sharma knew she wanted to be an orthodontist from the moment she got her own braces at 14. The colors of the elastics may have sparked her interest, but it was the confidence her new smile gave her that truly inspired her to pursue a career in orthodontics.

Dr. Ashima attended Rutgers University before earning both her dental and orthodontic degrees from Temple University, where she graduated at the top of her class. She was recognized for her dedication and excellence in the field of dentistry as the recipient of the prestigious William S. Kramer Excellence Award in 2019. Today, she brings that same level of passion and precision to every patient she treats at ROG, helping them achieve smiles they love.

Outside the office, Dr. Ashima enjoys cooking, arts and crafts, and traveling the world with her husband, Patrick, who is also a dentist. Together, they love exploring new food scenes and watching Formula 1 racing.
